Kota Tinggi 220907

Over the weekends on Saturday both of us went to a one day trip to Desaru and Kota Tinggi.
It was a last minute decision..
On Friday we went over to Chinatown to source for either 1 day/ 2D1N trips..
We were so lucky to get the package..

We woke up on Saturday @ 5am and prepared to go to Golden Mile Complex..
At 0630 the bus left for 2nd link and then msia..
At about 8am we had our breakfast at a local coffee shop..
had seafood noodles and tim sum and a plate of shao rou.. hehe

after tt we went to a chocolate factory and we bought some chocolates...
Sesame coated with black and white choc, tiramisu and macadamia chocs
choc drink and choc with vanilla drink...
the chocs are nice.. the drinks too...
we then proceed to a local shop selling "tu chan" (local products) but we din get any stuff from them except 2 packets of Dou Kou for my mom and his sis...

Lunch was next and we had lobsters.. but they were kind of small.. haha
da zhu said they look like cray fish instead...
had some crabs too... lunch was ok........ not as gd as what was expected... hehe

Next was the ostrich farm.. this is a whole new experience for me..
saw many ostrich and chickens that were kinda special.. haha
emus were also rared there..
it was fun there... we tried ostrich essence too.. haha

After ostrich farm, we got on to the bus and had a ten minute ride till we reach a Fruit farm...
There's nth much there.. except some dragon fruits, jambu, cucumbers, bitter gourd, jackfruit.....
then we bought some fruits from the shop there.. but it's kinda obvious the fruits were imported and not grown there... haha
as the trees were quite bare... hehe

Dinner was at Mei Li Do restaurant... and we went to tour the night market of msia..
we bought some crackers and odneh odneh(the green ball coated with coconut and filled with black sugar in it)

Fire flies was next.. we sat on a sampan and off we went to see fire flies..
the sky was quite bright due to the half moon and stars..
but still we managed to see fireflies clustered together on trees...
da zhu still managed to catch one of them... haha
and passed it to me.. so we had the little fire fly in our hands...

happy moments always pass very fast..
we headed back to spore and home sweet home......

Conclusion:
The trip was short yet memorable...
A whole new experience and relaxing trip
Weather was humid but not too bad.. No rain.. so heng.. haha
